Clash Athletic Football

Where the lads can play football, leave it on the pitch and

enjoy a cold pint when it's all said and done.

 Humble beginnings...

Officially established in December of 2007 as Albion Athletic, the team is the product of a merger between two previously existing BSL clubs - the Central Park Wanderers (2003-2007), and Lokomotiv Oakville (2005-2007).

After three seasons of battling it out on the pitch (in what was an intense rivalry) these two clubs were presented with an opportunity to combine their rosters to form one solid squad.  Their first official match was May 25, 2008 versus Burlham Forest.

Albion wasted no time in making a name for themselves in the BSL, winning the 2008 Men's Open Age Division One title in their inaugural season and gaining promotion.

Albion enjoyed the limelight of the coveted Premier Division (2009-2011), before returning to Division One in 2012 because of several personnel changes.

Albion added to the trophy case in 2012 with a 3rd place finish in league and taking home the playoff crown.  Not bad in what was a rebuilding year.

2013 arrived with high expectations for Albion.  The boys met those expectations and then some, winning both the League and Playoff titles - boasting a league low 11 goals in 19 games, coupled with 11 shut-outs.

A rough stint in the 2014 season in the Premier Division again prompted some changes in the club.  With attendance and personnel fluctuating, Albion made a decision to rebuild for the 2015 season.

In 2015, the boys of Albion found themselves joining the rapidly building and improving Clash Football Club, which had already boasted a strong Premier team, Over 30 team and a PHSL/OSL team.  Albion FC would become the 4th team in the Clash Club system.  The name would change and Albion FC would become Clash Athletic for the 2015 season, playing in the Open Age Men's Division 1.

With a strong support system in place under Clash Club management, Albion (now Clash Athletic) has the building blocks in place to move forward.

We look forward to seeing you on the pitch and at the pub!
